Professional Experience
Emma Hoekstra has been an auditor with SDK CPAs for more than five years, focusing on nonprofit organizations. Her experience includes audits in accordance with the Uniform Guidance (formerly A-133 audits), benefit plan audits (403b and 401k), and governmental audits. Emma constructs and performs tests to evaluate client financial data, and communicates industry changes relevant to clients’ financial statements. She enjoys working as a team with her clients to create an efficient and valuable audit process that enhances financial statements and internal operations.
